Description

At WithYou, we want to see a world where anyone seeking help feels welcome, not judged, and can get support, when and where they need it.

We are looking for an Executive Director of Business Development, Contract Delivery & Partnerships to grow our income, retaining and developing new services along with driving transformation. You will be visionary and impact-oriented, someone who can provide inspirational leadership which enables us to translate the business development strategy into action. We are looking for someone who can build productive and collaborative relationships, internally and externally, to further build our reputation and diversify our portfolio to enhance our sustainability.

You will bring experience of operating successfully at a senior management level in a large and complex organisation across multi-disciplinary teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record in generating income, particularly leading and winning significant tenders in public markets. In this role, you will support teams to develop new models and service designs that embed a user-centred culture and improve outcomes, ensuring collaboration and alignment between service delivery, digital and business development goals to achieve change.

WithYou is at the forefront of drug, alcohol and mental health support across the UK. Supported by our team of over 1,600 colleagues and volunteers, we deliver a range of innovative services designed to transform the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in our society, supporting them on their recovery journey. We support over 100,000 people every year, many of whom have a personal history blighted by trauma or poverty, many of whom are taking substances to anaesthetise the pain they feel. As part of our Executive team, you will model the culture, values, behaviours and guiding principles of WithYou to create an environment in which people can be their best, equality and diversity are well managed, and everyone feels included. Living and breathing our values of ‘compassion’, being ‘determined’ and ‘professional’.

It’s an exciting time to join the executive team at WithYou, with the development of a new organisational strategy underway for launch in 2025/26. We want to take the best from the world and apply it in our services in a sustainable way, so that we give our service users what they need and what they deserve. Our services and support give people a real chance to get better and stay well, by not just ceasing their substance use but by resolving the underlying issues that made that their solution of choice.
